Roberta Hoyle is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist/Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. She is a compassionate, trauma-informed therapist who believes that meaningful healing happens through connection, understanding, and the experience of being truly seen.

Roberta works with individuals, couples, families, and parents navigating life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, parenting stress, and complex family dynamics. She creates a collaborative and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences openly, build insight, and develop practical tools for lasting change.

Her clinical approach integrates modalities, such as, CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy, allowing her to balance evidence-based strategies with a deep respect for each client’s unique story and strengths. Roberta has extensive experience working with severe mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders, and she brings a grounded, strengths-based, and culturally responsive lens to her work.

Roberta earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Applied Psychology at Fielding Graduate University, where her research focuses on trauma, mental health stigma, and improving access to care—particularly among first responders.

She is deeply committed to creating a safe, authentic, and empowering therapeutic environment where clients can strengthen resilience, deepen relationships, and move forward with clarity and hope.
